Follow the Process
This page will be updated regularly by Lundahl & Seitl until the opening of Proscenium in November 2012. We would like to reveal a little more how we work: how our practice is shaped by time and how earlier work has informed Proscenium.

The artwork resists documentation and representation in text or image; it takes place in the visitor's consciousness and is therefore highly individual.

When listening to the composer Johann Sebastian Bach’s Fugue in A minor - which was the major score used, and inspiration from where the work Memory of WT Stead grew out of - I find that the experience of my body is being altered.

From Birth Series to Proscenium
Of Seeing and Being Seen, the Act and the Script behind it. The self that divides into two – the one who takes action and the witness of it. Where does the instruction come from? The conscious self seems merely being able to observe, to regret or justify the decision. The development from Birth Series to Proscenium was shifting the arena for these questions from public and domestic social settings into the world of theatre.

As part of the research Lundahl & Seitl invited a variety of universities and disciplines to test Proscenium in its early development; here are students from the International Curating Course from Sthlm University talking about their experience.
The project is a collaboration with a range of partners such as; British Council, Sennheiser and various universities in Stockholm such as Curating Lab, Experience Design Group and others, participating in the projects creation process through workshops.
